Matt Bernier

Matt Bernier is a FanDuel TV racing host, analyst and reporter.

Bernier comes to FanDuel TV along with serving as a handicapper and reporter for NBC’s horse racing coverage, and in the past served in a similar role for Daily Racing Form. In addition, he’s also contributed to ESPN’s coverage of the 2015 Triple Crown and continues to host "The Matt Bernier Show" podcast as part of the In The Money Media Network.

Matt's introduction to the racing industry came through handicapping tournaments, winning events like the Aqueduct Handicapping Challenge in 2014 and the NTRA NHC Charity Challenge in 2016. Bernier has also had successful runs in the Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge, finishing sixth in the 2014 event.

On top of handicapping horses, Matt builds predictive models to help handicap and wager on sports of all varieties, including football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and golf.

When not working, Bernier enjoys playing golf and spending time at home with his wife, Jenna, and their daughter, Colette, in York, Maine.
