Todd Schrupp

Todd Schrupp is a FanDuel TV anchor and racing host. Schrupp is one of the members of the original FanDuel TV broadcast team, formerly TVG, and has been with the network for over 20 years.

From the first milestone event covered by the network, Laffit Pincay, Jr. breaking Bill Shoemaker's all-time Wins Record, or American Pharoah becoming the first Triple Crown Winner in nearly 40 years, Schrupp has had a front row Seat to some of the most iconic moments in the Sport of Horse Racing. He puts Zenyatta's win over the boys in the Breeders' Cup Classic as his favorite Moment covering Horse Racing, and as a Fan.

A seminal moment in Schrupp's broadcasting career came early in the advent of TVG when he accepted a challenge to wrestle WWE Hall of Famer, Jerry 'The King' Lawler. Schrupp flew to Texas and wrestled 'The King' in front of thousands of spectators after the races at Sam Houston. The spectacle was broadcast on TVG, and just like legendary Comedian Andy Kaufman, Schrupp ended up counted out by the now banned move 'The Piledriver'. The event brought much needed recognition to the network and became a moment viewers frequently ask him about 20 years later.

In 2019, Schrupp and the TVG team accepted the highest honor in horse racing, the Eclipse Award. Considered the Oscars of Horse Racing, the Eclipse Awards honor the best of each year, and TVG was honored for their coverage of the TVG Pacific Classic.

A native of Minnesota and a lifelong suffering Vikings fan, Schrupp resides near FanDuel TV's studio base in Southern California. However, his broadcast assignments take him frequently on the road, so much so, he's logged over one million miles flying for the network and accumulated over four years spent in hotel rooms. "Traveling and being out at the track gives me a chance to truly connect with our viewers and be a fan up close to the sport I fell in love with as a teenager," says Schrupp.
