AGBO Launches Season 2 of Superhero Fantasy Football League With $1.25M Donation From Presenting Sponsor FanDuel
LOS ANGELES, CA (SEPTEMBER 4, 2020) – AGBO and FanDuel announced today the return of the annual AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football Charity League, a one-of-a-kind fantasy football league featuring some of the biggest stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) playing for charity.
With a $1,250,000 donation from FanDuel, a leader in the fantasy sports industry and this year’s exclusive presenting sponsor, Season Two of the AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football League is raising the stakes with new and returning players competing for a more than ten times larger prize pool than the inaugural season. $1,000,000 will be awarded to the charities selected by the ‘superhero’ league participants, based in part on their standings. The AGBO Superhero League presented by FanDuel is dedicating this season to friend and creative partner Chadwick Boseman; an additional $250,000 of awards for players’ in-season fantasy competitions on FanDuel will be donated to charities in Chadwick’s memory.
The lineups and results of the 14-player league will be displayed on www.AGBOSuperheroLeague.com, along with featured content from the celebrity player participants, including weekly ‘trash talk’ videos.
This season’s AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football League participants are, with their benefiting charities of choice noted: Joe Russo (The Arthritis Foundation), Season 1 Champion Chris Hemsworth (Australian Childhood Foundation), Robert Downey, Jr. (Footprint Coalition), Chris Evans (Christopher’s Haven), Karen Gillan (Mikey’s Line), Tom Holland (The Brothers Trust), Anthony Mackie (Stem NOLA), Elizabeth Olsen (The Rape Foundation), Chris Pratt (Special Olympics Washington), Ryan Reynolds (SickKids Foundation of Canada), Paul Rudd (Big Slick/Children’s Mercy Hospital), Pom Klementieff (Time’s Up), Simu Liu (charity to be announced), and ESPN’s Matthew Berry (The V Foundation for Cancer Research).

Famed fan art graphic designer Kode Abdo (BossLogic) will be returning to create graphics for the League. Abdo rose to fame on social media creating fan art based on the MCU and has worked with the Russo Brothers on projects including Avengers: Endgame.
