Chicago Bears Fans Get Bad Beat Relief
January 7, 2019, New York, NY — Today, FanDuel Sportsbook customers will get bad beat relief following the Chicago “Double-Doink kick,” the talk of the NFL playoffs in the sports betting community. All online FanDuel Sportsbook customers that placed a single Moneyline wager on the Bears will automatically receive a site credit matching their stake up to $100 in their account today.
“We are thrilled for the Eagles, but it was a tough way for the Bears to lose,” said Mike Raffensperger, CMO of FanDuel Group. “With playoff season heating up, this was a way to prove there are more ways to win on the FanDuel Sportsbook and once again show why we are the most innovative and fun sportsbook in the United States.”
This is not the first time that FanDuel made an impactful statement and did something special for its customers. In November, the FanDuel Sportsbook made sports betting history by being the first legal sports betting operator in the United States to pay out future wagers on the college football national championship – over a month before the final game was played. The FanDuel Sportsbook paid out customers that placed a wager on Alabama to win the national championship and tonight is the night where the outcome of the national championship game is decided.
