FanDuel Presents the Bitcoin Bowl

January 3, 2018, New York, NY – Today, FanDuel, one of the world’s leading fantasy sports companies, announced two contests to give fans an opportunity to win Bitcoin while playing fantasy football. This is the first time a sports tech company has awarded a cryptocurrency in a consumer promotion.

Beginning Week 1 of the NFL Playoffs, FanDuel will host a free, single entry contest – The Bitcoin Bowl Free Play – that will offer one user the chance to win one (1) Bitcoin. FanDuel will also offer the Bitcoin Bowl Tournament – a multi-entry, $3 entry fee tournament that will feature a tiered payout with first place securing two (2) Bitcoins, second place receiving a half (.5) Bitcoin and third and fourth place will receive a quarter (.25) Bitcoin.

New and current FanDuel users will need to enter and pick their lineup by the start of the first NFL playoff game on Saturday, January 6. The contests follow FanDuel’s standard rules and scoring on all four weekend NFL playoff games.
