Mississippi Legislature Passes Fantasy Sports Bill

On Tuesday, a fantasy sports bill in Mississippi was passed by both the state House and Senate. The bill will now go to the Governor’s desk for a signature. Please find FanDuel’s statement on the bill passing the MS legislature below:

“The legislature deserves a lot of credit for taking a deliberate and reasonable approach to a complex matter. The bill will allow fantasy players in Mississippi to continue to play — protected by firm consumer regulations all fantasy companies must abide by — while the state continues to study the issue. We are confident after comprehensive review the task force will recommend Mississippi embrace well-regulated fantasy sports for the legions of fans in the state who love to play.”
