Rep. Joe Atkins Introducing Legislation in Minnesota

Yesterday, Minnesota Rep. Joe Atkins announced that he will introduce legislation on daily fantasy sports in Minnesota.

FanDuel has been a very vocal supporter of consumer protections and common sense regulations for the fantasy industry so that sports fans may continue playing the games they love. While we feel that the bill introduced by Rep. Atkins is a concrete move to ensure Minnesotans right’ to play fantasy sports is protected, some of the proposals in the bill may be detrimental to the industry and fan experience. However, we look forward to working with Rep. Atkins and the State Legislature to find common ground that will allow us to maintain our ability to operate in Minnesota.
