June 28, New York, NJ — FanDuel is all in on the U.S. Women’s National Team, who are set to take on France today in the quarterfinals of the Women’s World Cup. The FanDuel Sportsbook paid out $400,000 to customers who placed wagers on Team USA to win the Women’s World Cup. Online customers were paid out before Team USA’s match against France. Any future wagers placed on Team USA after 11 AM ET on June 28th do not qualify for an early payout.
For today’s match against France, the FanDuel Sportsbook will have an Odds Boost on Alex Morgan to score the first goal boosted from +400 to +500 (max bet of $50) and a separate boost on Megan Rapinoe to score the first goal boosted from +330 to +650 (Max bet $50) . Team USA is currently -154 to qualify for the next round. At the start of the Women’s World Cup, Team USA was +350 to win the tournament and were joint favorites with France (Team USA is now +150). Overall, Team USA has been very popular representing 85% of bets and 90% of handle to win the World Cup at the FanDuel Sportsbook.
